Yachats

We made the long drive from San Francisco to Yachats, and as always had the best time!!!One of our first stops was at The Village Bean to get me my Sea Turtle Latte :) We are so lucky to have this beautiful place to escape to! I would love to take every one of my friends there and show them why I love it so much... Maybe one day

Giants!

We decided to take the long way to Oregon and go to San Francisco and catch a couple Giants games. We went to a night game first, and it was FREEZING! We had to buy Bryn a cute panda hat that had gloves and bought the best hot chocolate ever, they sell Ghirardelli hot chocolate there and it is to die for. The next day we went to a day game. It was a beautiful day and we sat up high and the view was incredible! I love this field, this team and everything about this city! 

High School Ball

Jade tried out for the Summer team at Copper Hills and he made the Sophomore team! It is a whole new world playing High School baseball but he did awesome and played a lot more than we thought he would. He played most of his time at 2nd base and did awesome. He even got to play at Ken Price field in Murray where I grew up watching my brothers play! Kinda strange to be there watching my son play. It was also weird to see him wearing a different #  but we like 3 too :)

Total Nerd

At Bryn's year end recital her team did a fun nerd dance, just for fun, they were pretty sick of their lyrical number and this was a nice change. At the end her teacher ( and Aunt) came out dressed like a nerd and danced with them. It was a fun night.

Last game as a Devil

I knew this day would be hard, and it was! :(  Jade has been playing on this team since he was 8. We have made so many friendships and consider a lot of the players and their family's our family.  Jade got to pitch and did awesome and the last inning his coach put all the original boys at their main position they have played over the years. It was an emotional day but so glad Jade was a part of this. I know he has made life long friends and we have got to travel to some amazing places with this team! He will always be #9 to me, Go Devils!

Tumbling Review

I look forward to this every year! I love watching all the hard work pay off. Bryn's class's performance was AWESOME!  I love her tumbling coach, and I love how much Bryn loves to do it. It is her passion.

Proud Mom

Jade got some awesome awards at his schools award night. Bobcat of the year and Presidential award. He was on the high honor roll every term! So proud, who said "Jocks" aren't smart? :)
