Adventure in Gingerbread!

So since the kids are out of school and I am stuck at home not being able to finish my shopping, we decided to make our gingerbread house that Grandma Sharon got us! I think it actually turned out pretty cute!

Bryn had her Christmas dance recital last night, and even though the music guy didnt show up or the lights guy they did a GREAT job! They did it to Im getting nuttin for Christmas and had to make a pouty face, which is funny cause they usually have to make sure to smile! It was so cute, you did great Bean!

Horses and Pigs and Geese oh MY!

I took the kids to Wheely Farm ( the name my nephew chris gave it when he was little and it stuck ) to do pictures for our card, they turned out so cute! Although it was freezing, and we got chased by im not kidding 40 HUGE geese. I thought we had out run them and I turn around and they are coming around the corner honking! I took a picture but it doesnt show nearly as many as there were, the rest hadnt come around yet. I made them go back today cause one shot just wasnt quite right, and boy didnt I get an ear full for making them do it again! :) Im a little bit of a perfectionist when it comes to that, sorry Jade get used to it! Im excited to finally work on our cards! Yay~

O Christmas Tree

Yesterday was our yearly trip to the tree lot. We first eat of course, and then head to Starbucks for lattes and hot chocolate. The kids like going to this lot to see the reindeer and Santa. Santa wasnt there this time, I guess he was busy! It usually takes me ALONG time to find the PERFECT tree... But this time, I walked around the corner and there it was! It was strange to not be walking around in the snow and cold for an hour while I try to decide which one I want! But it was still fun, one of my favorite things we do over the holidays! Now our house smells absolutely YUMMY and I cant wait to decorate it! Hopefully that and the fact it snowed will make me in the Christmas mood!

sleep my angel

Sometimes when Steve is gone there is a little angel that finds her way to my bed. She has always been so cuddly and cozy to sleep with, so its hard to kick her out. She looked extra angelic this time, and it reminded my of a song by Howard Jones.. Here are the lyrics.......

Turkey anyone?

Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving! We had a yummy dinner at my Mom and Dads, and as you can see from the pictures my kids loved the turkey and although they look like ravenous beasts in the pics they were very polite and well behaved! ( they do have manors I promise! ) Jade loves the drumstick, which I would NEVER touch! Bryn and I made 2 Banana cream pies last night and turkey place cards for everyone. She was a big helper! Just barely got through all the ads, trying to decide if I want to be one of the crazy shoppers tomorrow morning.... Cant wait to put up my Willow Tree nativity tomorrow!!!!!

Best Concert EVER!!!!!

Last night I was an amazing night! The Utes won, and I went to the Coldplay concert, which was the best concert I have ever been to! They are awesome in concert and it was better than I ever could imagine! The best part was when they did one of my favorite songs, the one playing on my blog now, and from the ceiling came thousands, maybe millions of paper butterflies! When the lights were on them they looked neon, it was unreal. The picture on here doesnt do it justice! I was a dork and brought some home! I am so glad I went, I cant believe Im saying this, but it may have even been better than Jack Johnson... Well its a toss up! :)

Needed something cuter!

I was getting tired of having to see Jadens poor head everytime I went to my blog, so I am just putting this on of Bean just to make it a little brighter! I love this pic so much! It was after we got back from Gardner Village and she was just sitting on the grass looking cute as ever, and the lighting was just right... She is too fun! love you Bryn

Stapled! ( warning graphic! )

As you may know Jaden does some pretty crazy things on his bike, rollerblade, scooter, ripstick, etc... I never would have thought the first time he would have to get stitches, which turned out to be staples, would be on a piano bench at school! He was so tough at the Dr. and barely flinched when he got stapled shut! He has to have them for 10 days and then we go to get them taken out.. Good times.........

GO UTES!

Steve found front row tickets to the game on Ebay and couldnt pass them by! Im glad it turned out to be a good game!!! I was watching on my phone the entire time at Bunco which probably drove people nuts! I made it home in time to watch the end with my parents and Bryn and now my throat hurts! Steve and Jade stormed the field with everyone which im sure made Jades night! UTES ROCK!

Fall Photo shoot!

My friend asked me to take some pictures of her kids, so we went to Gardner Village and tried to avoid ALL people there looking at Witches! It was hard to find a place without people in the background, but somehow I managed! Since I was doing theirs I decided to take some of J&B too, they turned out pretty cute! So thankful they put up with me and the things I make them do! :) They will thank me when they are older and they see how stinkin cute they were!

HaLlOweEn CrAfts!

I wanted to do some fun Halloween stuff with the kids a couple Fridays ago, and although they turned out really cute I just want to say that the Cheesecloth ghosts kicked my butt! Not as easy as I was imagining and I ended up having to do them cause it was just too hard for the kids. The Tie Dyed pumpkin shirts however were fun for them, I had to do the faces cause the fabric marker I bought was dumb and was hard to use! But they had fun putting the elastics on and dyeing them orange... I think they turned out cute! Bryn wears hers way more than Jade so I dont have a pic of him in his yet, but he wore it today to school so I will add one later!
