Pink Bandana

Tonight Jaden had practice and afterwords Jaden and Taylor did the famous whispering and the walk over to us grinning, we knew what was coming! " can we have a sleep over? " So Jade went to dinner at Iggys with the Cardwells and is having a sleepover. Since Steve is out of town I told Bryn we could go to dinner and that she could pick.. Big mistake, she picked McDonalds! It was fine, she has been wanting to go there and play. Well as we were walking in through Chevron she saw this pink bandana and told me she wanted one to wear to school cause her best friend Adriene wears one. As we were leaving she said again, " I really like that " She was so cute about it and didnt ask to get it or whine when I didnt get it for her when she first saw it, so I bought it for her. Its pretty cute for a ghetto Chevron special! We got our icecream on the way out and came home and played Littlest Petshop go fish and then we layed in bed and watched Enchanted for about 2 minutes and she was asleep. Now I can go watch McDreamy again, I havent watched the latest Greys yet. Thanks for a fun night Bean, I love that she is so easy to please!

Jade had another game tonight.. They won 6-2 and he got a Triple! It was a great hit, almost to the fence. He got the game ball and it was the actual ball he hit which I think is cool. Love it!

I love him!

I love watching Jade play baseball! It is one of my favorite things to do.I love the red dirt, their uniforms are stinkin cute this year! I love the smell, sounds of the boys chanting their cute little songs, the ball hitting the mitt, when the catcher says " balls in comin down " I love everything about it. And even though I stress out like a psycho mom in the stands, it still is so FUN! He had a game last night that was so intense and close,( and FREEZING ) and ended up making one of the game saving plays at shortstop ( which he is new at ) A HARD line drive was hit and he caught it like no big deal! The batter was robbed, it was a nice hit. It kept the tying run from being scored. His team is cute, a lot of fun boys and great coaches. Thanks for playing baseball Jade, I love you !

Sad Day......

Our cute little frog Casey died this morning.... I cant believe she lasted as long as she did considering the journey she went through to get here! We caught her in Oregon as a tadpole and brought her and some of her friends all the way from Oregon to Seattle with us in a plastic coffee cup from our favorite coffee shop in Oregon, The Green Salmon. She was the only one that lasted, and we became very attatched to her! Having to go buy her fruit flies since she was so tiny and that is the only thing that she could fit in her mouth. I think I will miss her more than anyone! I love frogs and she was so green and cute and had a little heart shaped spot on the top of her head! Dont worry, we already are planning to catch more tadpoles not only for us but for other people who saw her and want some for themselves!We are going to bury her in a box out in the garden, Bryn even colored it all pretty and we put her Oregon rock in there too. We love you Casey Girl. ( that is what Bryn called her )

Jazz game!

Bryn danced at the Jazz game pre game show last night and they did such a good job and had lots of fun!After they danced they got to meet the Jazz dancers and take a picture with them. We got to stay and watch the game after so Jaden was excited about that. He brought his friend Jake and saw lots more friends from baseball there too! Good Job Bryn, Anika and Lexi, you guys rock! I am trying to get the video on here! Check back later!

Update for Shan! :)

Nothing exciting has really happened, since every baseball game gets rained out, and we dont know what to do with ourselves when there is no baseball. :)
Tonight we went to Lexi's birthday party @ classic skating, it was way fun and I even put on Jades rollerblades and skated a little! It was fun, I think im going to get me some and take them more often cause its a work out!
Steve got hurt working in Idaho, I swear he is accident prone when he is out of town. He smashed his hand pretty good. The basketball frame came down and smashed it, and it is HUGE, and kinda burst open like a grape on his thumb! GROSS. He went to instacare tonight and it isnt broken, the Dr. was way suprised that it wasnt.
Last night I was so proud of the kids for eating what I made for dinner and liking it. We had Apricot Salmon, butternutt squash and rice. Jade has been begging me to make it, and is so pround of himself for eating healthy. I am trying to make healthier things and get more veggies in them. Sharon gave me Jerry Seinfelds wifes cookbook and it has ways of hiding veggies in stuff. Im excited to try some things out of it .
