I cant believe Bryn is already done with Kindergarten! I want her to stay forever, she loves it, loves her teacher, is happy to go everyday. Here are some pictures of her program and some when we got home that I thought were cute! Love you Bean, you are my sunshine! Way to go! Finally something good to blog ! Had to get rid of the dreary blue background too!

Aspen

Our best friend, Aspen passed away Sunday, he was 11 years old. He has been having seizures for a few years now and had a brain tumor, so it is for the best that he went, but it is so sad around here without him. He followed me everywhere I went, and was constantly under my feet. Even though he drove us crazy a lot of the time, we loved him and there is a huge void in our family. As soon as Steve and I moved in to our house we set out to find a yellow lab, and even had his name picked out way before. He was our first baby! I wish I had some digital pictures of him when he was a puppy, he was adorable! He has always been so tolerable with the kids, and let them do pretty much anything to him. Brynlee loved dressing him up and also riding on him like a horse. Jade is the one that I think is going to miss him most. He has grown up with him by his side, and took such good care of him. He misses him a lot in the morning. He used to let him in and feed him and make sure he got his medicine. Breaks my heart to see him so sad. At least we have oodles of pictures of him, he somehow found his way into almost every picture. Yesterday I was vacuuming and I found his precious bone, and I found myself missing him, he always was right where I needed to vacuum and Id have to make him get up. I know a lot of our friends will miss him too, he was always right under the table when we played, on top of everyones feet. We love you buddy, Run Forest,Run ...........

Hard week for us

Our cute little turtle Turquoise died and it has been so hard! Jaden got him for his 5th birthday, and we always thought he would be around along time. We even joked that Jaden had to take him when he grows up and moves out. He was so fun, we loved taking him out in the yard with us when we were working, and he would cruise all over the place. This has been especially hard for Jade, he is so tender hearted and the fact that it was his turtle. Bryn is taking it a lot better. What also makes it hard is Aspen isnt doing good at all, and we know the day is coming he will also pass, Jade knows it too and is really having a hard time with it. Why do we love pets so much? It was too hard for me to put a picture of Turq on here so I put the chinese symbol for turtle. We love you Turq~

A movie with no popcorn? that is a sin!

I cant believe it but I made it through a movie without popcorn & soda! Me, Shannon, Christy and Alisa went to see Made of Honor last night. I really liked it, and not only because of McDreamy!He is just too much! Me, Shannon and Lindsy are torturing ourselves and doing Isagenix and it happened to be on a cleanse day that we went, so no popcorn! I finally got to eat real food today, and it was the best chicken fajita Ive ever had. ( even without cheese ) After 2 days of drinking the gross berry drink, water, and a couple nasty snacks that taste awful and thats it, anything would have tasted incredible. I am hoping it will be worth it and jump start me into loosing the rest of the weight I wanted to loose. Thanks for the support you 2, I wouldnt have done it without you! Im sorry but next movie night we are going to Cafe rio before and having popcorn and a diet coke! and maybe even M&Ms

Yes, more baseball pics!

At one of Jades baseball games Saturday he hit a home run over the fence! He has hit home runs before, but never a real over the fence one, so it was really exciting! I took lots of pics of the team for a photo book im going to do for his coach. He is such a great guy and cares about the kids so much.

Let them be little

I was going through some old cds of pictures, finding ones I need to print out, and I was listening to the music on my Blog and "Let them be little" was on as I was looking at this pic. It is my absolute favorite picture ever! It is from May 2002. I love everything about it, up to the sun rays shining through the fence. Whenever I dont have patience with my kids, or they want me to do something that I dont want to do, I need to look at this picture and remember that sooner than I think they wont be asking me to do those things, and Ill be wishing they would! I love them so much.
